Welcome to EU Barcelona
Diagonal Building
TITOL

Welcome to our Diagonal campus, located at the heart of Barcelona’s business district in Upper Diagonal. This bustling area boasts plenty of cafés and restaurants, perfect for relaxation during free study periods. Our campus building is situated just across from L’Illa, one of Barcelona’s main shopping malls, and enjoys ample public transport links, including metro, bus and tram, for quick and easy access to all areas of the city.

Step into the lobby which gives access to our ten-floor, state-of-the-art campus building, inaugurated in September 2018. On the right, we proudly display the logos of our degree-awarding academic partners and accreditations. Through our partnerships, we offer state-accredited and state-recognized degrees. Our accreditations pay testament to the outstanding education which students receive across our campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, Munich and online.

Step through this door to our reception area where part of our administration department is also located. Here students are assisted by helpful staff who speak fluent English. On the wall, you will find our program brochures as well as magazines about what is going on in the vibrant city of Barcelona. On the large screen, we announce EU’s upcoming activities; from numerous guest speaker sessions to sports try-outs, students use this screen to keep abreast of our campus’ busy schedule.

Classrooms on our Diagonal campus are situated on the ground and first four floors of the building. This classroom overlooks one of Barcelona’s main thoroughfares, Avenida Diagonal. Our classrooms are large and enjoy natural light to provide the perfect study environment. Moreover, they are equipped with SMARTboards and a high-tech sound system as well as WIFI for state-of-the-art learning. In class, students interact with peers and lecturers. Business simulations, group assignments and class debates are undertaken to give a truly hands-on, learning experience.

Enter another of our spacious, light-filled classrooms with state-of-the-art learning equipment. In class, students enjoy a diverse environment: our student body comprises 100+ nationalities. Students may further enhance their international experience at EU by taking part in our cross-campus exchange programs. After graduating, they may also continue their studies at one of our partner institutions including Pace University in New York.

This classroom is situated at the back of our campus building and overlooks a quiet green space. Our quality business education is recognized by leading institutions across the globe. World-renowned QS Stars has awarded EU Business School a four-star rating in business excellence and also positions our MBA in the top 150 globally and top 50 in Europe. Our online MBA has also been ranked number one in the world by CEO Magazine for four consecutive years.

On each of our classroom floors, there are screens on which we announce the upcoming activities at EU. These range from guest speaker sessions, sports, unparalleled business conferences and trips to trade fairs and international organizations such as the UN in New York. These activities are specially selected to give students the opportunity to get ahead in the business world, to network and to make the most of student life at EU.

Welcome to the academic department on the fifth floor where our dean, student counselors and academic department are located. At EU, we pride ourselves on the personalized attention we offer our students. Our counselors help students settle into student life and provide academic support throughout their studies. There is an open, two-way communication between students and counselors who give constant feedback and monitor students’ progress.

In this meeting room on the sixth floor, we proudly display photographs of some of the outstanding global leaders who have visited EU. Kofi Annan, seventh secretary general of the United Nations, is featured on the left wall and, on the photo mural, you will see business leaders including Paul Bulcke, chairman of Nestlé; political heavyweights including Lech Walesa, Nobel Prize winner and former president of Poland; and sports stars such as Johan Kryff, one of the greatest footballers of all time. These outstanding speakers provide students with privileged insights into companies as well as unique networking opportunities.

At EU, we are proud of our community. To this end, we offer personalized merchandise which students use and wear whilst studying with us. Merchandise options are displayed in this cabinet located on the sixth floor, where the accounts and admissions departments are also located. The doors of these departments are always open to help students with any pending issues they may have.

The seventh floor of our Diagonal campus is the students’ floor. Enter the students’ lounge, specifically designed for relaxation between classes. It is decorated with photos of students enjoying different EU activities such as welcome drinks, sports, orientation days and company visits, among many others, to immerse students in the EU student experience. This room also includes a wide screen where our latest social media feed is relayed throughout the day. Vending machines for snacks and beverages are also found on this floor.

The student rec room is connected to the student lounge on the seventh floor. Here students let off steam between classes by playing fuss ball or by chatting with fellow students of 100+ nationalities. Our multicultural community helps students learn different perspectives. In addition, they make life-long friendships around the globe. Our diversity is recognized by prestigious academic entities such as QS, which ranks our MBA number one for diversity worldwide.

Success, passion, focus and determination are some of the words which adorn the walls of the seventh-floor study room. These words inspire students while they are studying hard on their assignments. In this room, students have the opportunity to focus on coursework, catch up with assignments or meet up with classmates to advance on a special group project. All our classes and assignments are given in English to ensure our students are well-versed in the international language of business and for success in their future careers.

EU’s Diagonal campus is vibrant and bustling. For students who wish to concentrate on one of their many assignments, they can go to the library where silence is mandatory. Large word clouds decorate the walls to offer an additional source of inspiration for assignments and project work. Our goal is for students to think out of the box, be innovative, connected and entrepreneurial. This room is a true testament of our objective.
